Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By using StartupBoost at www.startupboost.io, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or pay for a listing. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract.

2. What StartupBoost is

StartupBoostis a public pay-to-rank leaderboard. Listings are ordered by the total amount each has paid, highest first, with earlier listings winning ties. Ranking is not editorial: a high rank is not a review, endorsement, recommendation, or any statement of quality, legitimacy, or safety. We do not vet the products listed. Anything you do with a listed product is between you and that product's operator.

3. Bids and ranking

  • The minimum bid is $1. All amounts are in US dollars and are tax-inclusive totals — applicable tax is broken out of the amount you enter at checkout, not added on top.
  • Your rank is determined solely by your total bid. To take a rank, pay at least $1 more than the listing currently holding it.
  • Bids accumulate. A top-up adds to your existing total rather than replacing it.
  • Ranks are temporary and can change at any moment as others bid. We do not guarantee any rank, or that a rank will last for any period of time.
  • Choose one country per listing. Your bid ranks you on both the global board and that country's board; there is no extra charge for the country board.
  • Submitting a website that is already listed adds to that listing's total instead of creating a duplicate.

4. Payments are final

All payments are final and non-refundable. Your listing is published and your rank is calculated as soon as your payment settles, so the service is delivered immediately. Read the full no-refund policy and the matching section of our Privacy Policy before you pay. Payments are handled by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. Bid amounts are tax-inclusive totals; applicable tax is broken out of that amount at checkout, not added on top.

Please contact us before raising a chargeback. Where a payment is reversed, we may remove the associated listing and refuse future bids.

5. Your listing content

You are responsible for everything you submit and you confirm you have the right to submit it. Keep your description accurate and your link working. Do not submit:

  • content that is illegal where you or we operate;
  • malware, phishing, scams, or links that redirect somewhere materially different from what you described;
  • sexual content involving minors, or content that harasses or incites violence against people;
  • anything infringing someone else's trademark, copyright, or other rights;
  • impersonation of a product or company you do not represent.

You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display your listing name, description, link, and country on the site and in related promotion. Click counts and other statistics we publish are our own measurements and are provided as-is.

6. Removal and suspension

We may edit or remove any listing, or refuse any bid, at our discretion — including for breach of these Terms, for a broken or misleading link, or on legal request. Removal does not entitle you to a refund. If we remove a listing for a reason that is entirely our own fault, contact us and we will make it right.

7. Edit links

After a successful payment we show you a private link that lets you edit your listing. We do not send email, so that page is the only place you receive it — save it. Anyone holding the link can edit the listing, so keep it to yourself. Email contact@startupboost.io if you lose it and we will reissue it.

8. Availability and disclaimers

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may change or discontinue features. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StartupBoost is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost business, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. Questions go to contact@startupboost.io.
